Atascocita Trails Homeowners Association received its' certificate of Incorporation on November 17, 1976 after filling its' Articles Of Incorporation with the Office Of The Secretary Of The State Of Texas. The Articles Of Incorporation clearly define the mission of the Atascocita Trails Homeowners Association as follows:
To provide for maintenance and preservation of the properties subject to the Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions (Deed Restrictions) applicable to Atascocita Trails subdivision in Harris County, Texas and any additional properties that may hereafter be brought within the jurisdiction of this Association. To promote the health, safety and welfare of the residents within Atascocita Trails. To perform all of the duties and obligations of the association as set forth in the Deed Restrictions and the Non-Profit Corporation Act of the State of Texas for Atascocita Trails.
To fix, levy, collect and enforce payment by any lawful means, all charges or assessments to accomplish the terms of the Deed Restriction and the Non-Profit Corporation Act of the State of Texas. To pay all expenses incurred while conducting the business of the Association including all licenses, taxes or governmental charges levied or imposed against the property of the Association.
To have and exercise any and all powers, rights and privileges allotted the association by law under the Non-Profit Corporation Act of the State of Texas. This is providing none of the objectives or purposes shall be construed to authorize the corporation to do any act in violation of the Non-Profit act or part four of the Texas Miscellaneous Corporation Laws Act.
